Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $33–$37/hr (DOE)
Position Overview
This Senior Financial Analyst role supports finance and administrative operations within a complex healthcare environment. The position is responsible for delivering advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while partnering closely with operational leadership to support strategic and data-driven decision-making. This role also contributes to month-end close activities and ongoing improvements in financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly close processes, including reporting and reconciliations
- Perform detailed variance analysis with clear commentary for leadership reporting
- Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles
- Develop financial models and reporting tools to support operational decision-making
- Partner with operational and divisional leaders to provide financial insights
- Prepare executive-level presentations and financial reporting packages
- Extract, analyze, and present financial data using enterprise systems
- Support financial planning, performance tracking, and KPI reporting
- Assist with process improvement initiatives across finance operations
- Mentor and support junior analysts as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive finance experience in a healthcare environment
- Strong foundation in finance, accounting, or information systems
- Experience with month-end close ownership
- Background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong executive reporting and presentation skills
- Experience partnering with operational leadership
- Proficiency with Hyperion Essbase / Planning / Reporting tools (required)
- EPIC experience required
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
