Investment Director - Private Equity

We have partnered with a European Private Equity group who are now hiring an Investment Director to join its Dublin team.

Responsibilities:

• Leading analysis of 1-2 subsectors for the firms investment strategy
• Identifying potential investment target companies
• Co-leading/supporting origination and deal execution with MD/Partner
• Leading, assisting in due diligence, financial modelling, and deal execution
• Supporting investor and stakeholder engagement and communication
• As a core member of the team, the VP will also be involved in the development of the firm’s culture and values, processes, and strategic positioning

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of top tier investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance and investing experience. Select backgrounds in management consulting may be considered.
• Strong undergraduate education, with ACA or CFA education a plus
• Extremely strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Very strong writing and communications skills, including presentation (PowerPoint) and social media skills
• Entrepreneurial, self-starting personality with strong team orientation
