This is an on-site position based in Everett, WA, offering an opportunity to contribute to a well-established and growing company.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Collaborate with project managers and production teams to understand material requirements and timelines
- Track orders and coordinate delivery to meet project schedules
- Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors to optimize procurement costs
- Manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary
- Resolve purchase discrepancies and issues with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field a plus
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle purchasing challenges proactively
- Experience working with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards
