Key Responsibilities
Coordinating Routine O&M and Breakdown Activities:
- Liaise with site in-charges to schedule and coordinate routine maintenance activities, including inspections, servicing, and repairs, across all project sites.
- Act as a central point of contact for reporting and managing breakdowns or emergencies, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
- Maintain records of O&M activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment performance data.
- Facilitate smooth handover and takeover (HOTO) processes between project development teams and O&M teams for newly commissioned sites.
- Ensure all relevant documentation, manuals, and training materials are provided to O&M teams for effective site management post-commissioning.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers involved in O&M activities, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving issues.
- Coordinate procurement of spare parts, consumables, and specialized services required for O&M activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with various internal departments such as engineering, procurement, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless coordination and support for O&M activities.
- Facilitate communication and information sharing between different departments to address operational challenges and optimize resource allocation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client queries and concerns related to O&M activities, ensuring timely responses and resolution of issues.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing regular updates on O&M performance, addressing feedback, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Compile and analyze data from multiple project sites to prepare comprehensive management information system (MIS) reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), operational trends, and areas for improvement.
- Present MIS reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Additional qualifications in project management or operations would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in operations and maintenance coordination, preferably in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with database management systems for generating reports and analyzing data.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as required.
