Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
- Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile. Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health.
- Assist in managing practice operations to meet or exceed key performance metrics, including budget and production targets, and ensure financial records are accurate.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing non-clinical patient concerns, and assisting in conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with Practice Manager to conduct team performance evaluations and assist in team development.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, manage appointments, and anticipate scheduling conflicts. Foster positive relationships with doctors, Practice Manager, and team members, facilitating conflict resolution.
- Safeguard bank deposits and petty cash funds, following established protocols. Optimize patient flow and manage budgeted payroll hours.
- Train team members on company processes and policies, and support implementation of new procedures.
- Assist in organizing team meetings and communication efforts, fostering staff development. Contribute to local marketing efforts.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment. Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
- Two (2) or more years of dental practical experience
- High degree of professionalism and professional image
- Positive attitude, change advocate
- Independent decision-making skills, sound judgment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
- Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
