Reports to: Customer Program Manager - Truck is part of the PM department and reports to the CPM Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage truck orders delivery and the trucks in stock in Europe.
- Lead the project from order to delivery in Europe and communication during several production stages, production, customer receiving, PDI and final delivery to ensure the smooth delivery of the project;
- According to request, manage overseas PDI rectification work, including coordinating PDI resources, organizing PDI workshop to deliver according to the plan, managing PDI rectification costs and other activities; lead the communication and coordination of the whole process of delivery plan;
- Provide bidding support, understanding market needs on delivery and following up market demands until closing;
- Grasp the order demand, synchronize plan with headquarters;
- Organize and plan customer satisfaction survey and problem feedback follow-up of order delivery, and assist the sales team to maintain customer relationship;
- Collect and compile major customer complaints and distribute internally for resolution;
- Be responsible for visiting customers regularly together with sales, understanding customer needs, and following up customer demands until closing;
- Develop a trusted, collaborative partnership with sales, customers, distributors and PDI workshops.
- Transfer in efficient way all the requests from relevant stakeholders to BYD organization.
- Plan delivery key activities involving all the relevant stakeholders internal and external (customer,distributor, PDI workshop, etc.).
- Be able to understand technical problems and solutions to be implemented to smooth communication between BYD and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and properly uploaded into BYD system
- Project status reporting: open points tracking and risk analysis during the entire project phase
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines and in a high pace environment.
- High level of proactivity is mandatory; be able to anticipate the project risks and activities.
- Work independently organizing visits on site to strengthen client relationships, pre-inspection in production sites and to supervise PDIs activities in the region.
- Manage truck orders and the trucks in stock in Europe.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree, technical background is preferred.
- Proven track record in the transport or automotive industry; 5-year experience is a must.
- Experience in cross-cultural management, client management and conflict management, strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Strong leadership skills and creative thinking.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure.
- Good command of English is essential, both written and verbal.
- Able to speak, read and write in Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
- Computer knowledge and proficiency, including MS Office and MS Project.
- Able to travel on a regular basis in whole Europe, and occasional travel to BYD offices in EU, BYD Hungary factory and China.
- Relevant experience in similar B2B sectors.
- Other European language skills.
- Experience with High Tech Start-up / Electric Vehicles / Alternative Energy / Batteries.
