Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking two visionary and high-performing leaders to join our team.

We Are Currently Recruiting For Two divisional Director Opportunities:

  • Divisional Director | Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS)

As The Leader Of The CYMHS Division, You Will Champion The Mental Health And Wellbeing Of Queensland's Youth. You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Providing high-level strategic and operational oversight for a diverse range of mental health services.
  • Ensuring the delivery of timely, effective, and compassionate care tailored to the needs of children and their families.
  • Guiding a dedicated divisional management team to meet and exceed CHQ's key performance indicators (KPIs).

2. Divisional Director | Surgery and Perioperative Services

Leading One Of The Most Dynamic Environments Within CHQ, You Will Oversee The Strategic Direction Of Our Surgical And Perioperative Streams. You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Driving operational excellence across surgical specialties and theater environments.
  • Maintaining a focus on patient safety and the provision of high-quality surgical outcomes.
  • Empowering your divisional leadership team to achieve organisational goals through clinical innovation and efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities

For Both Positions, The Successful Candidates Will:

  • Lead with Impact: Provide executive-level leadership that balances long-term strategy with day-to-day operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate Excellence: Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement to ensure the best possible patient experiences.
  • Drive Performance: Lead a multidisciplinary management team to achieve divisional accountabilities in alignment with CHQ's broader strategic framework.
