In this role, you will work directly with pet owners to help them keep their pets in their homes whenever possible or assist them with the surrender process, including scheduling appointments and providing necessary guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with pet owners to understand their situations and explore options to keep pets in their homes.
• Provide clear information and support regarding surrender requirements and procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate surrender appointments as needed.
• Work independently in a controlled environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and appointments.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse community, ensuring all clients feel heard and supported.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual required).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work compassionately with pet owners.
• Ability to work independently in a controlled setting with minimal supervision.
• Experience or comfort working in a customer service or support role.
• Organizational skills to manage appointments and documentation efficiently.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with sensitive situations involving pets and their owners.
