We’re looking for an experienced and peoplefocused Team Leader – Early Release Claims to lead a highperforming team responsible for delivering timely, accurate and compassionate early release claim outcomes for our members. You will play a critical leadership role—coaching, developing and motivating your team, and building relationships with members, insurers and external partners.
This role is available as a 12-month fixed term or Secondment opportunity.
About The Role

- Lead, coach and develop a team to exceed performance, quality and service targets
- Create a supportive, highperformance culture focused on learning, development and continuous improvement
- Manage daytoday team operations, including objectives, workload priorities and escalations
- Take ownership of complex or escalated member enquiries and claims issues
- Monitor and analyse team performance, implementing strategies to improve engagement, retention and service outcomes
- Drive improvements to processes, procedures, tools and customer experiences
- Proactively manage change initiatives and support your team through change
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, insurers and external third parties to influence positive claim outcome
We’re Also Looking For
- Proven experience leading motivated and achieving teams, including performance and change management
- Agility and the ability to navigate transformational change impacting the business area
- Strong coaching and feedback capability with a focus on developing others
- Passion for customer service and highquality member outcomes
- Advanced stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Sound business acumen with the ability to manage risk and communicate complex issues
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, changing environment
- RG146compliance or equivalent, coaching qualifications, and superannuation and insurance industry experience are also things we’d love to see in your background but aren't essential.
