Role: Application Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Porto, Portugal

Required skills:

Professional experience in Application Security, DevSecOps or Cybersecurity

Strong knowledge of application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 / API Top 10) and Secure SDLC

Hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis, tracking, and remediation across the lifecycle

Experience working with SAST, DAST, SCA tools and interpreting pentest results

Experience performing secure code reviews and threat modelling

Knowledge of cloud security in AWS and/or Azure environments

Experience with modern architectures (APIs, microservices)

Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with tracking tools such as JIRA

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail

Ability to work autonomously in regulated and dynamic environments

Good communication skills to collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams

Fluent English (spoken and written)
