What You'll Do
- Conduct company and sector research on Egyptian listed companies (banking, energy, telecom, FMCG, etc.) and prepare short investment memos and stock pitches.
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models (primarily DCF, comparable company analysis, and portfolio performance models).
- Support the team in analyzing macroeconomic trends in Egypt (inflation, currency devaluation, interest rates, capital flows) and their impact on asset classes and corporate performance.
- Contribute to the development of new investment products, thematic funds, or structured offerings suitable for retail and institutional clients.
- Help create client-facing content: explain investment ideas, risks, and performance to first-time Egyptian investors.
- Track and analyze the performance of model portfolios, mutual funds, and platform-offered assets.
- Prepare presentations and materials for internal senior management or external stakeholders.
- Participate in deal-idea generation (IPO readiness, capital raising options, M&A screening).
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field (strong academic record preferred).
- Solid understanding of financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, and key financial metrics.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Genuine interest in Egyptian capital markets and macroeconomics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to simplify complex ideas).
- High ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (professional working proficiency in both).
