Accountant (m/f/d) – ERP & Financial Accounting (Ref:EvyBY)

An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a global manufacturer of quartz devices, committed to customer trust and environmental sustainability. We are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) – ERP & Financial Accounting to join this company.

Responsibilities

• Management of ongoing financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Preparation and participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensuring compliance with national tax and accounting regulations.
• Reconciliation of accounts, conducting plausibility checks, and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintenance and further development of accounting processes in Odoo.
• Support in the optimisation and utilisation of ERP modules.
• Close collaboration with internal departments as well as external partners.
• Preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
• Active participation in the further development of internal control systems and processes.

Requirements

• Completed training as a certified accountant, tax assistant or a comparable commercial qualification with a focus on accounting/taxation.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an industrial company or global environment.
• Solid experience working with Datev, comparable accounting software and/or Odoo.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
• Basic knowledge of English.
• Analytical thinking.

• High attention to detail.
