About the Role
We are a fast-moving, all-hands-on-deck strategic creative agency looking for a smart, driven Digital & Social Manager to sit at the centre of our digital output. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable shaping a paid media strategy as they are pulling weekly performance reports or managing an always-on social calendar.
You will own our clients’ digital presence end-to-end, from media planning and campaign execution through to organic social, analytics and reporting. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and collaborate across creative, strategy and account teams to deliver integrated, results-driven digital work.
Paid Media & Campaign Management
• Plan, build and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant platforms
• Set up, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display and Google Grant accounts
• Execute programmatic display campaigns and manage relevant DSPs
• Own paid media budgets, pacing and performance optimisation across all channels
• Develop and maintain media plans for client campaigns
Digital Strategy
• Contribute to and help lead digital strategy for agency clients
• Advise on channel selection, targeting, audience strategy and content approach
• Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes and emerging digital trends
Organic Social & Community Management
• Manage always-on organic social scheduling and publishing across client channels
• Develop and maintain content calendars in collaboration with creative and account teams
• Monitor and manage community engagement, responding to comments and messages as appropriate
Analytics & Reporting
• Produce clear, actionable weekly performance reports during campaign periods
• Deliver the digital analytics section of end-of-campaign impact reports
• Set up and maintain campaign tracking, tagging and analytics
• Translate data into insights and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders
Essential
• 3–5 years’ experience in a digital marketing or paid media role, ideally within an agency environment
• Proven experience managing paid social campaigns at scale for consumer brands
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search and Display)
• Familiarity with programmatic display and DSP platforms
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and organic social best practice
• Comfortable with analytics tools (GA4, Meta Business Suite, native platform dashboards)
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Client relationship management and client service skills
• Clear communicator with the ability to present performance data to clients in plain language
Desirable
• Experience with content calendar management tools
• Some exposure to content creation or briefing creative assets for digital
• Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications
• Experience working in an integrated agency setting
• Proactive and self-directed, you don’t wait to be told what needs doing
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small, busy agency
• A genuine interest in digital, social and what’s happening across the industry
• Collaborative and easy to work with, but confident in your expertise
• Focused on outcomes and always thinking about performance
While content creation is not a core requirement of this role, a basic eye for what works on social and the ability to brief, guide or produce creative assets will be an advantage.
