Job role
The Procurement Reporting Expert plays a key role for the monitoring of strategic procurement activities. This role covers especially:
- procurement/contracting/spent data analysis,
- active participation in the evolution of the reporting framework moving from pure data representation to a data like enabled procurement predictive analytics
- creation and maintenance of the periodical reporting system mostly enabled by the Procurement Dashboard
- active assessment and improvement of the data quality
- continuous support to the colleagues worldwide for data/reporting preparation and data insight
- Maintenance of current reporting framework (Procurement Dashboard and Spend Visibility)
- Improvement and update of current reporting framework
- Monitoring Procurement data quality, cleaning data, fixing issues that may arise, and implementing data quality improvement plans
- Procurement Data quality process improvement
- Engagement of the buyer community for data review and support of reporting related topic
- Preparation of material for periodic assessments of the data (weekly/monthly)
- Creation of ad-hoc report for other functions and for managers
- Act as knowledge owner for the transformation program, defining business requirements and working closely with developers to improve tooling landscape
- Develop and document process and training material
- Ensure financial and savings reporting awareness managing the periodical reporting process, working closely with department heads and category leaders to develop, monitor, and analyze data. Provide analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, information management, business administration or similar.
- General knowledge and understanding of procurement and project management fundamentals
- General knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
- At least 5 years of working experience in data analysis and/or Procurement
- Excellent knowledge of SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract.
- Analytical and customer oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in technology, digital transformation, and innovation (e.g. IT, automation, or GenAI).We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.
- Strong IT skills, proficient MS Excel
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; Creative mindset – and the ability to approach a problem creatively
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
- Strong analytic and conceptional skills, affinity for numbers and attention for detail
- Knowledge of best practices in data analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
