Her Mane Therapy is a luxury healthy hair studio specializing in scalp care, natural hair services, and protective styling. We are seeking a licensed Texas Cosmetology Operator who is passionate about healthy hair and interested in growing within a structured salon environment focused on education, results, and client experience.

This position is ideal for a stylist who wants to strengthen their foundational skills while learning advanced healthy hair systems and scalp care techniques.

Role Overview

The Cosmetology Assistant supports the lead stylist by performing foundational services that prepare clients for treatments, natural styles, and extension services. This role plays an important part in delivering an elevated luxury salon experience while learning the Her Mane Therapy healthy hair methodology.

Primary Responsibilities

• Luxury shampoo services with thorough cleansing techniques

• Relaxing and intentional scalp massage

• Blow drying natural and textured hair

• Scalp detox and treatment application

• Neat braid downs for sew-in and protective styles

• Assisting with client preparation and salon flow

• Maintaining sanitation and professional service standards

What We’re Looking For

• Active Texas Cosmetology Operator License

• Confidence working with natural and textured hair

• Experience with braid downs preferred

• Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Coachable and eager to learn

• Passion for healthy hair care and scalp wellness
