The Regional Director of Operations is a hands-on leader responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development across a portfolio of hotel properties. This role repoets to the COO and requires a highly engaged leader who works closely with on-site teams, mentors General Managers, and ensures brand standards and guest experience expectations are consistently exceeded.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership and ongoing mentorship to General Managers and property leadership teams
  • Conduct regular property visits to support operations, reinforce standards, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective labor management, cost controls, and performance accountability
  • Analyze financial reports (P&L, budgets, forecasts) and implement strategies to improve results
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, service culture, and guest satisfaction goals
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue Management teams to maximize occupancy and ADR performance
  • Lead hiring, training, coaching, and succession planning efforts across the region
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Support new hotel openings, transitions, and renovations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local/state laws

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive hotel operations experience, with multi-property oversight preferred
  • Proven track record of improving operational and financial performance
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a hands-on, team-first approach
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and sales
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing KPIs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region
