Your Responsibilities

  • Independent development, documentation and implementation of solutions according to the requirements of the business processes and project specifications
  • Planning, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructures
  • Development and user-side support of operational IT application systems in specific specialist areas and flexible time regimes
  • Configuration and administration of network components such as routers, switches and / or firewalls
  • Monitoring network performance and implementing optimisation measures
  • Implementing security guidelines and ensuring network security
  • Identifying and resolving network problems and carrying out error analyses
  • Collaborating with other IT teams and external service providers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
  • Documenting network configurations and changes as well as (strategic) application projects
  • Coordination and organisation of projects

MUST-HAVES

  • Ideally completed 4-year university education in the field of information technology or business informatics
  • Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field
  • Business fluent in German and written and spoken English in the context of IT applications
  • Proven experience in the design and administration of corporate networks
  • Ability to analyse and rectify errors and strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to be on call and occasionally work weekends
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness
  • Ability to work in a team and customer-orientation
  • You must meet the requirements for a valid background check (ZÜP) in accordance with Section 7 of the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG). If you do not have a valid German background check or security check, this will be applied for together during the application process.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the configuration of network devices and protocols
  • Experience in the implementation of security guidelines in the network area
  • Good knowledge of network monitoring tools and technologies
  • Specific knowledge and skills in common IT tools and development environments
  • Driving licence (car)
