Your Responsibilities
- Independent development, documentation and implementation of solutions according to the requirements of the business processes and project specifications
- Planning, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructures
- Development and user-side support of operational IT application systems in specific specialist areas and flexible time regimes
- Configuration and administration of network components such as routers, switches and / or firewalls
- Monitoring network performance and implementing optimisation measures
- Implementing security guidelines and ensuring network security
- Identifying and resolving network problems and carrying out error analyses
- Collaborating with other IT teams and external service providers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
- Documenting network configurations and changes as well as (strategic) application projects
- Coordination and organisation of projects
- Ideally completed 4-year university education in the field of information technology or business informatics
- Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field
- Business fluent in German and written and spoken English in the context of IT applications
- Proven experience in the design and administration of corporate networks
- Ability to analyse and rectify errors and strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to be on call and occasionally work weekends
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness
- Ability to work in a team and customer-orientation
- You must meet the requirements for a valid background check (ZÜP) in accordance with Section 7 of the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG). If you do not have a valid German background check or security check, this will be applied for together during the application process.
- Knowledge of the configuration of network devices and protocols
- Experience in the implementation of security guidelines in the network area
- Good knowledge of network monitoring tools and technologies
- Specific knowledge and skills in common IT tools and development environments
- Driving licence (car)
