Responsibilities:
- Identify a market need: Identify a problem and create a product to solve that problem by talking to customers, completing surveys, and using market research.
- Quantify the need: Determine if the problem is large enough to warrant a product-based solution and if the customers are willing to pay for this solution.
- Conceptualize the product: Apply creativity and innovation to figure out the product solution.
- Validate the solution: Test whether the solution product is viable, worth pursuing, and liked by the target users.
- Build a roadmap: Identify goals and themes for development and solve the most important challenges to legitimize the product concept.
- Develop the product: Create a minimum viable product (MVP), an initial version that has only enough function to meet its customer's purpose.
- Release to users: Conduct experiments with the MVP to gauge interest, test price sensitivity, find marketing channels, create a message, and develop packaging.
- Ongoing feedback: Collect customer feedback to continue expansion and enhancements, keep growing the product roadmap, and set new strategic goals for the product.
- Ensure effective alignment with the Product Innovation Steering Committee
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 8+ years of experience in Marketing and Product Innovation
- Hands‑on experience leading primary consumer research and rapidly validating insights through pilots, experiments, and in‑market testing to guide product investment decisions.
- Deep experience translating primary consumer research—qualitative and quantitative—into testable product concepts, pricing, and value propositions, with a proven track record of using in‑market experimentation (concept tests, pilots, A/B tests) to drive evidence‑backed product decisions.”
- Ability to adeptly lead a cross-functional, matrix team to highly successful outcomes
- Working knowledge of the latest digital marketing, technology, and media consumption trends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to get things done in a fast-paced, limited-resource environment.
- Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
