📍 Location: Thessaloniki,Greece (Hybrid)

🕒 Job Type: Full-time

📅 Application Deadline: 5/5/2026

About The Role

Odyssea is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Youth Center in Thessaloniki. The successful candidate will play a key role in connecting Odyssea’s beneficiaries — refugees, migrants, and vulnerable Greeks — with employment opportunities that match their skills, training, and aspirations.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify job openings, screen and prepare candidates, support interviews, and liaise with employers to ensure successful placements.

This role requires empathy, professionalism, and the ability to balance the needs of both candidates and employers. It’s ideal for someone passionate about social impact, employability, and helping people achieve meaningful careers.

The role may include occasional travel to support employer engagement activities. Awareness of legal frameworks related to refugee and migrant employment is a plus—but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Beneficiary Recruitment & Job Matching

  • Engage directly with beneficiaries to understand their skills, experience, and career goals.
  • Assess candidate readiness and refer them to relevant job openings.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews (CV support, interview coaching, follow-up).
  • Match candidates with suitable employers, ensuring alignment between job requirements and individual strengths.

Employer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Identify new and maintain existing partnerships with employers across Greece.
  • Communicate regularly with companies to understand their hiring needs.
  • Share candidate profiles and coordinate interviews between employers and beneficiaries.
  • Support both parties throughout the placement process to ensure a positive experience.

Labor Market & Data Management

  • Stay informed about labor market trends, particularly in blue-collar and service industries.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidates, placements, and employer contacts in Odyssea’s database.
  • Track placement metrics and support reporting requirements.
  • Work towards clearly defined KPIs, ensuring consistent performance across candidate engagement, shortlist delivery, and employability outcomes.

Collaboration & Field Support

  • Work closely with Odyssea’s teams to align training outcomes with employer demand.
  • Participate in field visits and job fairs as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, employability, or job placement roles.
  • Proven ability to source and match candidates with external employers.
  • Experience working with refugees, migrants, or vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the Greek labour market and key employment sectors.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn, job boards, and CRM or ATS systems.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across Greece.

  • Experience in NGOs, employment programs, or workforce development projects.
