Senior Accountant

You will
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze various financial reports and present findings to senior management including monthly trend and flux analysis.
- General Ledger Management:
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate transaction recording including cash, prepaids, payments and accruals.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Owning A/P and A/R processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Reconcile customer and vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency in A/P and A/R processes.
- Compliance and Audit:
- Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare documentation and schedules for audits and regulatory reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and report variances.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle); Netsuite ZoneBilling experience is a plus. Company uses NetSuite and Ramp.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Knowledge and experience using AI tools is a plus.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000 per year.
