Most of our team have a detailed Murex background (10 years +) and have occupied senior positions in the Murex vendor company before joining Fenixys.

The Role

You will join an established delivery team working within the Treasury and Trading business for a Fenixys client in Geneva; working with Business and IT stakeholders.

• Assist Senior Business Analysts in system onboarding, configuration, market data setup and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT teams or vendors to resolve system-related issues and implement enhancements or upgrades as needed.
• Assist risk managers in monitoring and analysing trading risks, such as market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks
• Clearly communicating the solution progress to key business stakeholders.
• Follow-up of the solution delivery, and the different testing cycles.
• Ease the communication between business and IT.
• Create documentation for future reference.

Job requirements

• You have a Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or similar discipline and have an above-average academic track record.
• FRM or CFA Qualification - preferred
• Fluent English and French - preferred.
• You might have worked briefly as a business consultant or in a financial institution or in energy trading industry. We are interested in graduates and/or people looking for their next career move.
• You have an interest for the financial markets/energy trading and IT systems.
• You are curious and open-minded; engaged in developing and supporting efficient and reliable solutions to clients.
• As a person you are responsible, hardworking and a good communicator, and you know how to build up good relations – always with a focus to create good value for clients.
• Experience with SQL is an advantage
