Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data infrastructure supporting investment research, analytics, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern data engineering technologies and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Build and optimize data infrastructure for analytics and reporting
- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and accessible data across systems
- Work with large-scale data processing technologies
- Collaborate with analytics, research, and engineering teams
- Support CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala
- Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, or other big data technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Investment Management or Financial Services domain
- Knowledge of data warehousing and analytics platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree is required
