Senior IT Business Analyst – EHS

A global technology and advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior IT Functional Business Analyst to support enterprise Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Maintenance operations.

This is a highly collaborative, business-facing role focused on bridging the gap between operational stakeholders and IT teams. The successful candidate will work closely with EHS, Facilities, and Workplace Services teams to understand business challenges, gather requirements, improve processes, and help drive technology-enabled solutions across a complex manufacturing environment.

This is not a heavily technical development role. The focus is on functional analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and translating operational needs into scalable IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with EHS, Facilities, and Workplace Services stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Act as the liaison between business teams and internal IT groups
• Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
• Support enterprise EHS and Facilities systems initiatives across manufacturing operations
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and process mapping sessions
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance activities, and implementation support
• Assist with system enhancements, integrations, reporting, and data-related initiatives
• Drive clear communication across cross-functional global teams
• Support ongoing operational and strategic initiatives within Facilities and EHS environments

Desired Background

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Direct experience supporting EHS, Facilities Maintenance, Plant Maintenance, or Workplace Services functions
• Experience working within manufacturing, semiconductor, pharma, industrial, automotive, aerospace, or other regulated environments
• Strong experience gathering requirements and working directly with operational stakeholders
• Familiarity with EHS or Facilities platforms such as Cority, Nuvolo, Maximo, SAP PM, Archibus, Planon, ServiceNow Facilities, or similar systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within enterprise IT environments and cross-functional teams
• Exposure to reporting, integrations, or cloud-based systems is beneficial
