Technology Program Manager / Scrum Master (Jr. & Sr. Levels)

Note: Local NY/NJ candidates with Banking/Financial Services experience preferred.

Overview

Morgan Stanley Wealth Technology is seeking experienced Technology Program Managers / Scrum Masters to support large-scale wealth platform modernization and enterprise transformation initiatives. The role will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, and senior business stakeholders to drive agile delivery and execution across multiple workstreams in a highly regulated enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Execution

Lead end-to-end delivery execution across multiple initiatives and agile workstreams

Translate roadmap milestones into sprint goals, release plans, and delivery checkpoints

Partner with Product Owners to align priorities with engineering capacity and delivery timelines

Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives, and release coordination

Track delivery progress against scope, quality, and timelines

Identify and remove delivery impediments to maintain team velocity

Program Governance, Risk & Controls

Ensure compliance with enterprise delivery governance and audit standards

Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and drive mitigation strategies

Manage delivery, operational, and technology risks across programs

Support SDLC, release management, and change management processes

Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and escalations

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

Provide executive-level delivery status reporting

Lead weekly/monthly program and service delivery meetings

Communicate delivery health through KPIs and agile metrics

Act as the single source of truth for program status, risks, and dependencies

Drive alignment between business, product, and technology teams

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Technology Program Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery Lead

Strong experience leading large-scale agile delivery programs

Experience with enterprise modernization or digital transformation initiatives

Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and SDLC methodologies

Experience with RAID management, governance, and risk mitigation

Strong stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills

Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

Banking / Financial Services / Wealth Management experience

Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments

Familiarity with enterprise release management and change control processes

Certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or PMP preferred
