Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Defence Sales Manager based in Germany, and the role is home-based with travel within Europe. The Defence Sales Manager will lead the development and execution of sales strategies within region to drive growth within the defence, military and government sector.


Responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, and preparing proposals for satellite and terrestrial communications solutions tailored to defence industry needs. The role also involves close collaboration with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver high-quality solutions, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Skills & Experience


  • Strong background in sales strategy development, business development, and account management
  • Solid understanding of satellite communications, terrestrial networking, and associated technologies
  • Proven ability to manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders, particularly within the defense sector, and secure contracts
  • Experience working with government organizations and knowledge of military, defence and public sector procurement processes
  • Experience in managing complex, technical sales projects in the defense, military or public sectors
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German
  • Relevant degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Eligible/permitted to work in Germany
  • Able to travel frequently within Germany and Europe
  • Able to receive government Security Clearance, or already in possession of clearance
