Portfolio Manager

Swoon is actively hiring a Portfolio Manager to join the team!

What your day-to-day will look like?

• Oversee multiple programs and workstreams across Digital, Operations, and Lending portfolios—ensuring alignment to timelines, priorities, and strategic objectives
• Partner directly with senior leadership and PMO stakeholders to drive portfolio governance, resolve escalations, and maintain overall delivery health
• Actively support program execution (not just oversight), including structuring delivery plans, facilitating planning sessions, and guiding teams through complex initiatives
• Manage cross-functional stakeholder communication—providing executive-level updates, aligning business and technology teams, and ensuring clarity across initiatives
• Track and manage risks, dependencies, budgets, and business cases to ensure programs stay on track financially and operationally
• Coach and support project managers across the portfolio—driving consistency, improving delivery discipline, and reinforcing enterprise PMO standards

What’s Required / Technical Skills

• 10+ years of program/portfolio management experience with a proven track record leading large-scale, multi-workstream enterprise initiatives in complex organizations
• Strong enterprise portfolio governance experience, including managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and aligning initiatives to strategic business objectives
• Hands-on delivery leadership capability—ability to move beyond oversight and actively structure programs, support execution, and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments
• Executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience partnering closely with senior leadership across business and technology functions
• Deep understanding of hybrid Agile delivery environments and experience operating within enterprise PMO frameworks and governance models
• Experience leading transformation initiatives within financial services or similarly regulated industries, with exposure to digital, analytics, or modernization programs preferred

Hybrid role – Remote – Must be willing to work in CST hours

Hourly Rate - $75-$80 per hour
