Vivanta made an impactful entry into Germany generic pharmaceutical markets with the retail market participations that started about 4 years ago. It’s already been awarded multiple contracts for almost all of its portfolio products, with an average market share of about 15% within its first two years. Vivanta is working closely with all the leading SHIs & wholesalers in Germany, and in quite a few cases exclusively. It has ensured superior performance, driven by its vertically integrated supply chain, customer focus and business agility. With a quickly expanding product pipeline for both the retail and hospital markets, Vivanta is looking for an upcoming business finance leader who will have the drive and knowledge to lead the Vivanta growth story in the German market & thereby overall Europe.
Job Summary
Support & help accelerate the Germany business growth story, to ensure that we multiply the overall German business, while growing the customer & product base responsibly and sustainably. Lead this exciting growth journey in terms of identification and expansion of the right business initiatives, driving business analytics, delivering strong processes, compliances and governance, by supporting the Germany & Europe business leadership.
Responsibilities
- Part-take responsibility in the delivery of top-line and bottom-line targets for the German market, along with the Germany Country Manager
- Work extensively and very closely with the retail market operations – stronger gross to net process, claim reconciliations, approval matrix, pricing review etc.
- Participate in the tender bid management process actively, along with the Tender Business Head
- Lead the SHI rebate and other payable programs, diligently and in orderly fashion
- Work with the Europe finance team and lead the Germany treasury operations and overall month to month cash positions for the business
- Ensure strong local and international compliances, including VAT filings, corporate tax, Statistics reporting, Statutory audit support for German operations liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- MIS reporting and highlight / raise red flags early in the works, offer recommendations and push for closures.
- Analyse business initiatives, drive relevant discussions and decision-making process around the same, supporting the Germany CM
- Contribute to sales mindset, driving the DSR, LBE & forecast process, in collaboration with SCM
- Drive operational efficiency in supply chain, quality, 3PL, sales & distribution operations, through initiatives in gross & net business margin expansions
- Offer governance support of the key business / marketing initiative in Germany
Skills and Qualifications
Mandatory:
- 10 years or more of experience in the finance function, particularly with good exposure in business finance or FP&A roles
- Prover team player with strong ownership mindset
- Self-driven & initiative taking
- Very strong analytical skills
- Result oriented
- Highly proficiency in using MS Excel and good in other MS Suite tools,
- ERP Governance - Experience with SAP
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in German language & very good working knowledge of English language
Preferred:
- Preferred combination of chartered accountant with a business management credential
- Preferably worked in a generic pharmaceutical business environment before
- Prior exposure in a fast-paced, high growth environment
