At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what "Celebrating Life Evey Day!" means to our residents and their families, then we help them achieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic Staffing Coordinator for our Bloomfield Hills community.
Responsibilities
- Prepares schedule for the Care department by scheduling all Licensed Nurses (RN/LPN), CNA’s, Caregivers and Med Techs to ensure state mandated staffing ratios are maintained.
- Prepare “monthly” schedules for all nursing departments – schedule to be posted at 6-week intervals and 2-weeks prior to the expiration of the current schedule.
- Prepare daily sign in sheets at least two weeks in advance.
- Monitor daily staffing per census utilizing the staffing resources to minimize overtime.
- Maintain daily roster sheets for each shift.
- Daily review of previous day’s-time clock punches to the schedule.
- Report any staffing challenges to the DON immediately.
- Maintain attendance records of nursing staff and triggers disciplinary action for staffing issues in relation to attendance to the respective Nurse Manager.
- May perform clerical duties and other assignments as needed for the Nursing Department and Management Team.
- Maintains Medical Records and prepares doctor rounds.
- Orders medical and office supplies and puts away all supplies.
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years office administrative experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, or hospital is preferred.
