Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Location: Cambridge, Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build a complex, patient-facing React Native product at an early-stage stealth AI startup.

This is a hands-on product engineering role for someone who can own complete features across the mobile app, backend/API layer, and release. The ideal candidate is strong in production React Native, comfortable working across the full stack, and able to move quickly in a startup environment with a high degree of ownership.

What You’ll Do:

Build and ship patient-facing features in React Native.

Own full feature delivery across mobile, backend/API, and release

Integrate and extend GraphQL APIs and backend services.

Partner closely with product, design, backend, and mobile platform engineering.

Help improve mobile quality, reliability, observability, and release confidence

Contribute to testing, debugging, production support, and mobile release workflows

Use AI tools as part of your development workflow to move faster without sacrificing quality.

What We’re Looking For:

4 to 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong hands-on React Native experience is a must.

Experience building and shipping production mobile applications.

Strong TypeScript/JavaScript experience.

Backend/API experience with GraphQL, REST, Node, Python/Django, or similar.

Ability to own full features end-to-end, not just UI work.

Comfort working across mobile, API/backend, data flow, error states, edge cases, and release

Strong communication, judgment, and ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.

Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to accelerate development.

Nice to Have:

Expo/EAS experience.

Mobile CI/CD, feature flags, crash monitoring, staged rollouts, App Store/Google Play release experience.

Experience with accessibility, security, PHI/PII, or sensitive data handling.

Healthcare, healthtech, fintech, insurance, banking, or other regulated product experience.
