Job Description

The Oxy/Alltra Machine Operator uses cutting equipment to cut, shape, and remove metal components. They read blueprints, set up and maintain cutting tools, and ensure precise, safe operation while working with high-temperature flames and pressurized gases. Works efficiently on production in a fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Mechanically inclined, production-oriented and safety and quality conscious.
• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under general supervision.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs preferred.
• Previous experience with precision instruments preferred.
