Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting healthcare providers with patient care, managing medical records, and ensuring a smooth operation of the medical office. Responsibilities may also include preparing patients for procedures, taking vitals, and supporting the care team in delivering high-quality services to patients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care, including obtaining vital signs and maintaining a professional patient experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with medical documentation standards
• Understanding of Medical Office operations, including managing schedules and providing administrative support
• Experience in maintaining and managing accurate Medical Records
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
• Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant training program is preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or eligibility to obtain certification is a plus
