Job Summary:
Our Client’s cost accounting organization is supporting their external financial and internal stewardship reporting and analysis by ensuring that business transactions are properly recorded, validated, and reported in financial statements.
You will be supporting colleagues responsible for accounting transactions associated with inter-affiliate cost allocation and service billings, netting and settlements.
Job Responsibilities
- Specialized in accounting for intercompany and cost accounting, special business events and monthly/quarterly/annual activities
- Reconcile and investigate billing and cost allocation items for prompt resolution
- Support regional Treasury Centre to ensure all inter-affiliate financing transactions are properly reflected in ledgers
- Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly key performance indicators
- Build knowledge on end-to-end process business processes
- Support local and global process improvement initiatives
Required Skills:
- Bachelor/Master degree (or pending degree with only the final exam outstanding) in Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent
- Relevant 2+ years’ work experience in an accounting environment
- Strong, proven understanding of the fundamentals and underlying logic of accounting
- Demonstratable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Precision and attention to numerical detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Can-do attitude, willingness to take initiative and seek challenges
- Ability to influence others and work in a team environment
- Good communication, collaboration, and coordination skills
- Interest in digital innovation and continuous improvement
