Test Engineer (2+ yrs)

The ideal candidate has the capacity to design and develop both desktop and cross-platform applications, as well as a deep understanding of operating system workings and internals. They will be tasked with utilizing one or more of the listed technology skills and must have the ability to bring projects to completion from start to finish.

As a Test Engineer, your responsibilities include reviewing requirements, estimating levels of effort (LOEs), collaborating with other team members, conducting proof-of-concepts (POCs), develop, and maintain clear, efficient, and reusable unit test cases. Review, update, and optimize existing test cases. Work effectively with legacy code and ensure test coverage for existing functionalities.

Additionally, you should continuously challenge yourself, your team, and others, and effectively execute all assigned projects. This is a work from office position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 year of QA testing experience
  
• 1–2 years of automated testing experience (manual testing experience alone is not sufficient)
  
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and hands‑on experience testing web applications
  
• Knowledge of programming/scripting (C# with .NET / SQL / JavaScript or similar)
  
• Experience with Git / General source control practices
  
• Understanding of how AI systems work at a conceptual level and how AI can be applied across the software testing lifecycle
  
• Ability to use AI tools in testing activities such as test case design, test data generation, defect analysis, and automation support
  
• Ability to write clear and effective prompts to guide AI tools for testing tasks
  
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn, evaluate, and adapt to new AI‑based testing tools and approaches
  
• Experience working with major desktop & mobile platforms (Windows, Mac, etc.)
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—documentation, presentation, and training
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork capabilities
  
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  
• Testing-related certifications (ISTQB) are an added advantage
