Product Pricing Manager (Life Insurance)

Responsibilities :

• Ensure accuracy of appropriateness of assumptions used for pricing of products like endowment, participating plans, annuity, etc. and provide quality analysis for decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy of pricing model used for pricing of new products.
• Ensure financial metrics for product approval request is compliant with pricing approval guideline and approval authorities.
• Review policy contract wordings and premium certificates and ensure their alignment with product design, internal approval, OIC regulations, and corporate policy.
• Ensure alignment on key changes in contract wordings and premium certificates with other stakeholders for their peer review and risk assessments.
• Handle product submissions to OIC on product features, technical pricing and ensure smooth product approval with OIC.
• Review UAT on sales materials and on product implementation that relates to pricing and ensure alignment with product design and approval.
• Liaise with reinsurers for new products reinsurance arrangement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders such as IT, Operations, Distribution, etc. in product implementation.
• Provide coaching to subordinates.
• Others as assigned: Any other matters

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in Life Insurance Actuarial field include pricing experience.
• ASA or equivalent actuarial qualification is preferred, but not a must.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving skills, and coordinating skills.
