C# Software Engineer | Semiconductor Test & Measurement | Up to 14M + Stock Options

I’m supporting a Tokyo-based technology startup developing advanced semiconductor test and measurement systems, including ATE-related products and benchtop measurement equipment.

They are hiring a C# Software Engineer to take ownership of the software that controls and operates these systems.

Up to ¥14M + Stock Options
Tokyo Hybrid
C# / C++ / Python / WPF / WinForms / Linux / Windows
Semiconductor testing / Measurement instruments / Device control

What you’ll work on

• Lead application software design, implementation, testing, and delivery
• Design software architecture and UI prototypes
• Develop algorithms and device-control functionality
• Build software for semiconductor ATE and benchtop measurement products
• Improve performance, usability, reliability, maintainability, and scalability
• Develop internal software platforms and conduct code reviews
• Build software tools used throughout the hardware development process

Who they’re looking for

• Strong C# development experience
• Experience with WPF or WinForms
• Understanding of object-oriented design and multithreaded programming
• Experience developing software on Linux and familiarity with Windows development environments
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Comfortable working close to hardware and lower-level device control

Experience with DMM, LCR, SMU, oscilloscopes, automated testing, or other measurement instruments is particularly valuable.
