Software Application Engineer (EA)

[Job Description]

• Install, configure, and deploy Equipment Automation (EA) solutions in semiconductor manufacturing environments

• Develop and maintain equipment interfaces between manufacturing equipment and factory systems

• Support customer automation projects, including implementation, testing, and deployment

• Configure and troubleshoot equipment communication interfaces

• Develop software customizations and integration modules

• Analyze and resolve equipment connectivity and automation-related issues

• Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure successful project execution

• Provide technical documentation and support during commissioning activities

• C# / .NET Framework or .NET Core

• Database (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)

• Software Development and Troubleshooting

• Windows Server Environment

• TCP/IP Network Fundamentals

• SECS/GEM (SEMI Standards)

• Equipment Automation (EA) Systems

• OPC UA / OPC DA (Optional)

• REST API Development and Integration

• XML / JSON Data Processing

• MES Integration Knowledge

• Basic Scripting (PowerShell, Python)

Qualification

• Education: Open to all educational backgrounds (Associate Degree or higher preferred)

• Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields

• Years of Experience: New College Graduate (NCG) to 5 years of professional experience
