Job Title :

IT Application Development Assistant Manager

Department : IT Solution Delivery

Key Success Indicators :

  • Projects/enhancements delivered on time and within scope
  • Code review compliance: code merged through proper review process
  • Turnaround time (TAT) for critical bug fixes/hotfixes (within SLA hours)
  • System documentation completeness — technical design docs, API specs, database/ETL (SSIS) documentation, and user/report manuals kept up to date for every release

Technical Competency Requirement :

Core Stack

  • Delphi 7/ VB.net / C# (legacy core insurance application maintenance & enhancement)
  • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) – ETL, batch data processing, data migration
  • Java Spring Boot – microservices / backend API development
  • RESTful API design, development & integration (API Gateway experience a plus)
  • Angular (front-end web application development)
  • Reporting tools – Crystal Reports (report design, RDL/RPT development, parameterized reports)
  • System Integration – experience integrating core insurance systems with external parties (banks, payment gateways, regulators/OJK reporting, reinsurance systems, etc.)

Database & Infrastructure

  • Strong SQL skills (MS SQL Server preferred, given SSIS/Crystal Reports pairing)
  • Understanding of stored procedures, query optimization, and database design
  • Familiar with on-premise / hybrid deployment (typical for insurance core systems)

Architecture & Practices

  • Understanding of both legacy (Delphi monolith) and modern (Java Spring Boot microservices) architecture
  • Experience leading migration/modernization from legacy to modern stack is a strong plus
  • Familiar with Git/version control, CI/CD basics
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodology

KEY REQUIRMENTS :

  • Bachelor Degree, Major : SI/TI
  • Minimum 4 years as Developer, 1 year in Leading Development Team & 1 year in Managing Projects
  • Professional qualification : LOMA is an preferable
  • Back End (BE) : focus on desktop application Delphi/VB. Net/C#, MSSQL, Java Spring Boot, SSIS/ETL, SSRS/Crystal Report/Jasper Report.
