Technical Product Owner

Location: MN-Rochester, 100% Remote
Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Technical Product Owner, you will join Turnberry's Business Agility practice. Turnberry's Business Agility practice provides ways-of-working assessments with supporting improvement recommendations, Product Management and Agile Delivery education opportunities, team and enterprise-level Product and Agile coaching, and strategic staffing for each of the skills required to drive Agile and/or Project to Product transformation journeys.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, product management, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Help prioritize work and manage competing stakeholder needs
- Drive solution discussions and ensure alignment with ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices
- Assist with roadmap planning, dependency management, and release coordination within a Scaled Agile framework
- Strong Business Analyst experience supporting Agile software development teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe or similar) environment
- Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and ServiceNow development lifecycle
- Ability to write and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation
- Experience collaborating closely with development, testing, and product teams
- Experience serving as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master/Scrum Guide when needed
- SAFe certification, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scrum Master certification, or equivalent Agile credentials
- Prior experience supporting ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, or platform modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Agile Development modules
- Knowledge of ServiceNow's SAFe-related capabilities and Agile planning features is highly desirable
