C# / .NET – Software Engineer

We are currently hiring for an experienced C# / .NET Software Engineer with 1–8 years of software development experience to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web API, Microservices, and Angular for one of our client in Pune.

The role focuses on building robust enterprise applications, developing scalable backend services and REST APIs, implementing microservice-based architectures, and developing modern web applications using Angular.

This role is suited to a hands-on software engineer who has strong experience in C# and .NET technologies and understands modern enterprise application development. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Web API, .NET Core, Microservices, Angular, SQL, and ORM technologies, along with a strong focus on coding standards and software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using C# and .NET.
• Develop robust and maintainable applications using .NET Core.
• Design and develop ASP.NET MVC applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs.
• Design and implement scalable Microservices.
• Develop frontend applications and components using Angular.
• Work with relational databases and develop efficient SQL queries.
• Implement data access using ORM technologies, including Entity Framework.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Develop, debug, test, and optimize enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective root-cause analysis and resolutions.
• Follow established software development standards, coding guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Ensure developed solutions meet functional, performance, maintainability, and quality requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Work within Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, development, testing, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with architects, developers, QA engineers, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams.
• Take ownership of assigned development activities and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Required Skills / Primary Skills

• 1–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with relevant .NET technologies for experienced candidates.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, MVC, .NET Core, Web API, Microservices, and Angular.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Good understanding of ORM technologies; Entity Framework experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software development principles and best practices.
• Good knowledge of coding standards and software development best practices.

Education

• B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience, technical capability, and interview performance.

Candidates with approximately 5 years of relevant experience can be considered up to ₹25 Lakhs for exceptionally strong profiles.

Candidates with approximately 8 years of experience can be considered in the range of ₹35–40 Lakhs for exceptionally strong profiles.

For exceptional candidates, compensation can be decided based on technical expertise, relevant experience, interview performance, and overall fit.
