This position is tailored for early-career developers or recent graduates with solid foundational knowledge in object-oriented programming, .NET technologies, relational databases, and modern front-end web development. You will receive mentorship, structured training, and hands-on exposure to high-performance, enterprise-scale financial technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development & Engineering
- Develop, debug, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+.
- Assist in developing responsive, user-friendly UI components using Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and interact with databases using SQL Server.
- Integrate application components with messaging platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka) and third-party APIs under the mentorship of senior team members.
- Quality Assurance, Testing & Code Health
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Jasmine.
- Participate in peer code reviews to receive constructive feedback, learn enterprise coding standards, and improve code maintainability.
- Identify, triage, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.
- Agile Collaboration & DevOps
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives.
- Utilize version control systems (Git) following standard branching strategies (e.g., pull request reviews).
- Learn and interact with CI/CD build and deployment pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated testing tools.
- Continuous Learning & AI Enablement
- Leverage modern AI developer productivity tools (such as GitHub Copilot) responsibly and effectively to accelerate learning and coding velocity.
- Proactively explore new frameworks, design patterns, and engineering best practices through internal training pathways.
- Core Backend: Strong foundational knowledge of C#, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, and basic web API development in .NET / .NET Core.
- Database: Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL), basic indexing.
- Frontend Basics: Hands-on understanding of web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) and familiarity with a modern frontend framework (Angular or React).
- API Knowledge: Understanding of RESTful architecture, HTTP status codes, and data formats (JSON, XML).
- Source Control: Basic proficiency with Git (clone, branch, commit, push, merge, pull requests).
- Familiarity with messaging systems or event-driven concepts (e.g., Apache Kafka, MSMQ).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Basic understanding of containerization concepts (Docker) and cloud platforms.
- Experience using developer AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and prompt techniques for development and testing.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving aptitude, logical reasoning, and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to ask clarifying questions and communicate technical progress.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience / coding bootcamp graduation).
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant software development experience (internships, academic projects, or professional entry-level roles).
