AI Application Engineer

We're looking for an AI Application Engineer to help design and integrate practical AI applications into our company's existing software environment. This role builds on what's already in place, adding useful capabilities while keeping workflows clean and reliable.

TOP-PRIORITY QUALIFICATION: AI Application Design and Integration

Demonstrated ability to design and build intuitive AI applications that work with established databases and reporting systems, turning existing capabilities into streamlined workflows and adding targeted functionality where it adds real value.

ENVIRONMENT

Our core application is built in C# on .NET Framework 4.8, using WPF and Windows Forms (WinForms), with a SQL Server database. Newer applications are built in modern .NET.

Candidates must be able to read and understand our existing code and database, integrate with our systems, and safely modify applications. Familiarity with Infragistics, Telerik, or Crystal Reports is a plus.

COLLABORATION

This role works closely with company ownership and our in-house software engineer to plan and deliver improvements.

DATA ACCESS AND SYSTEM RELIABILITY

A key part of this role is designing and maintaining safe access to company data. Updates and new applications must work reliably with our systems and avoid disrupting day-to-day operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

3-5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years as an AI Application Engineer.

LOCATION

This is an in-office hybrid role. Candidates must live in the local area to collaborate with our in-house team.
