Senior Associate, Software Packaging and Distribution – End User Computing

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Software Packaging and Distribution – End User Computing to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders to analyze packaging requests, gather requirements, determine complexities, and author software deployment packages
- Develop silent and attended installation packages using wrapper methodology in MSI + MST, MSIX, and INTUNEWIN formats, following established global standards, processes, and workflows
- Perform initial installation and development testing on Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments prior to QA, business testing, and pilot handoffs
- Deploy software packages via MECM (SCCM) and Intune, following standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, and manage phased rollouts for enterprise-class applications
- Maintain precise registration records for software titles, tracking application owners, versions, package lifecycle statuses, and vendor data
- Participate actively in Agile Scrum meetings, provide regular reporting on packaging activities, and contribute to resource planning aligned with organizational objectives
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum three years of recent dedicated experience in software packaging for Windows 11 and Mac desktop client platforms
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required; or five years of equivalent working experience
- Direct hands-on experience utilizing MECM (SCCM) and Intune consoles and tools such as InstallShield, AdminStudio, Win32 Content Prep Tool, and WinGet; knowledge of MECM OSD Task Sequences and Intune Autopilot is preferred
- Exceptional PowerShell scripting skills with proven experience troubleshooting MECM/Intune clients, log files, and package installation issues, including managing applications through upgrades and end-of-life retirement (for example, Adobe, Office, M365)
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and concurrent project management skills with a proven track record of meeting strict service level agreements (SLAs) and deployment deadlines in a customer-service-driven team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
