Trading Desk Operations, Senior Associate to Director level - Quant Trading Team Hong Kong Trading – Quant Middle Office / Full-time / Hybrid apply for this job We are looking for a Senior Associate/ Director in Trading Desk Operations to join our Trading Team. You will help on the operational side of the trading desk, supporting trading and funding operations and streamlining processes to support the growth of our Trading business. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the trade life cycle for the particular trading desk you will support.

Responsibilities

Provide dedicated end-to-end trade support to assigned trading desks, perform trade bookings, trade verifications, balance and position reconciliations, P&L attributions Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, delays, and other problems presented throughout the trade life cycle Using coding and AI tools, develop and enhance booking and reconciliation procedures Real-time monitoring and escalation on risk positions against internal thresholds and develop new monitoring tools for the desk Develop standardized templates and playbooks for new product onboarding (booking models, reconciliation rules, account setup) to reduce time-to-market Set up of new accounts and trading books, maintain data integrity and data mapping Perform funding operations and settlement checks, investigate and resolve fund transfer issues, liaising internally with Treasury or with external brokers Monitor funding usage, ROI and manage internal capital distribution records Assist in analysis of trading performance, P&L and risk attribution Assist promptly in adhoc/urgent requests from the trading desks relating to trade bookings or funding requests Engage with developers on projects that further enhance system infrastructure and controls Identify repetitive manual processes across the trade lifecycle and build automated solutions (scripts, macros, RPA) to reduce operational risk and processing time

Requirements

Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or Quantitative discipline 5+ years of working experience on the Trading floor as Trading Assistant or Trade Support or in relevant functions such as Middle Office, Product Control in a financial services or crypto trading firm Have working knowledge in AI tools and Python and an interest to expand your technical skills Excellent problem solving skills, detailed oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy Positive and proactive, critical thinker who strives for continuous improvement A product owner, results oriented, think outside of the box and can deliver under pressure Thrive to work in a dynamic environment, passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain  We may use artificial intelligence tools to analyze the content of your Resume/CV against the specific
