- Senior Data Engineer
- Location: Lehi, UT 84043 (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite). Flexible, open to remote candidates
- Duration: 12/07/2026 - 07/02/2027 (Contract)
- Team: CSS BCDD Finance Sys
- Design and build infrastructure to support Finance, Accounting, and Business Model Strategy organizations.
- Architect data models, integrate disparate data sources, and manage a data warehouse to enable insight discovery.
- Develop internal applications and processes to standardize collection and representation of contractual data.
- Apply AI and large language models (LLMs) to solve problems and increase efficiency and productivity.
- Build, develop, test and deploy services and tools for Finance and Business Model Strategy organizations.
- Design and maintain data warehouses and architect data models to support financial reporting and product consumption.
- Develop and manage data pipelines for collecting, processing, and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Participate in software development activities including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing and documentation.
- Build systems and processes to normalize contractual and product usage data and surface insights to internal and external customers.
- Rapidly prototype ideas and concepts; research trends in data analytics, LLMs, and AI.
- Collaborate and strategize with internal partners; solicit feedback to build data products that meet program objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Computer Science, Data Analytics or relevant field.
- 7+ years experience in a related role/field.
- 7+ years experience with SQL, Python, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, Databricks, storage services and other database technologies.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration, scheduling, and configuration.
- Knowledge of database design and architecture principles; focus on delivering well-documented data products with high throughput and low latency.
- Process orientation with strong attention to detail.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Databricks.
- Experience with LLMs, especially employing AI in code development, data analysis, and document summarization.
- Familiarity with finance and accounting principles and core business performance metrics.
- Understanding of common SaaS contract terms, structures, and verbiage.
- Proven track record of taking independent action with internal customers to address pressing needs.
- Pay Rate: $51.41/hour
