Technical Writer and Graphic Designer (m/f/d)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Technical Writer and Graphic Designer (m/f/d) for an exciting project in the Aerospace and Defence sector.

The role combines technical documentation, technical illustration and visual communication, with a particular focus on complex systems and maintenance documentation.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electronic technical documentation

• Create technical graphics, illustrations and isometric views for complex documentation and spare parts catalogues

• Produce technical illustrations in accordance with ASD S1000D and S2000M standards

• Prepare technical content for operation, maintenance and servicing documentation

• Create and update internal and customer-facing technical documentation

• Collaborate with Systems Engineering to collect and visually present technical information

• Structure and standardise technical documentation

• Adapt documentation to project-specific requirements and applicable standards

• Support documentation quality assurance activities

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in technical drafting, media design, illustration or a comparable field

• At least 4 years of professional experience in technical documentation

• Practical experience with ASD S1000D and S2000M

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Experience with technical graphics and illustration software such as PTC IsoDraw, CorelDRAW Technical Suite, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop

• Business-fluent German and English

• Availability for occasional business travel within Germany and Europe

Please note that the position may involve project-specific compliance and eligibility requirements. In particular, the ability to obtain a security clearance for NATO projects is required.
