Computer Aided Design Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications.
• Write secure, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and technical needs.
• Analyze and resolve complex application and system integration issues.
• Participate in an Agile development environment.
• Review and contribute to technical designs and application architecture.
• Develop and demonstrate new application features and functionality.
• Build, enhance, and maintain cloud-based applications.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Optimize application parameters and front-end performance.
• Support automation and improvements to software development workflows.
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed software applications and system modifications.
• Identify technical requirements, dependencies, limitations, and system restrictions.
• Collaborate with internal and external development teams on integrations and technical solutions.
• Learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies as required.

Required Technical Skills:

The candidate must have software development experience in at least two (2) of the following areas:

Education & Experience:

Candidates should meet one of the following:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; OR

2–4 years of experience in application development; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
