Senior Software Engineer

The Opportunity

A well-established organization is expanding its technology team and seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and build modern enterprise applications and automation solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, building applications from the ground up, integrating enterprise systems, and working directly with business stakeholders.

The role combines traditional software engineering with newer automation and AI-enabled development. You will work across multiple applications and platforms rather than being dedicated to a single enterprise system.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, enhance, and support business-critical applications.
• Build full-stack applications and backend services using C#/.NET and related technologies.
• Use Python for application development, automation, data processing, and emerging AI use cases.
• Design and develop APIs and integrations between enterprise applications and data sources.
• Build automation that replaces complex or manual business processes.
• Develop solutions that incorporate modern AI and LLM capabilities where appropriate.
• Work with both structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate applications with enterprise platforms and third-party systems.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Help establish engineering standards and development best practices.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience using Python for development, automation, data processing, or related applications.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Experience with modern software engineering practices including Git, testing, code review, and CI/CD.
• Experience developing or integrating applications utilizing modern AI/LLM technologies.
• Experience working within a modern cloud environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Industry Experience

Professional technology experience within financial services or another complex, highly regulated business environment is strongly preferred.

Experience developing applications that support sophisticated financial, analytical, operational, or data-intensive business processes is particularly valuable.
