Role Overview:

We are looking for an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong test automation experience to support an Equity Derivatives trading platform. The candidate will develop automated testing solutions, perform functional analysis, and work closely with QA and development teams across APIs, backend components, and UI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites.
• Automate manual test cases for complex trading applications.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and QA strategies.
• Perform functional testing and analysis of equity derivatives products.
• Automate API and backend testing.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Validate application and database data using SQL.
• Support CI/CD-based test execution and regression testing.
• Provide automation guidance and training to QA team members.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of SDET / Test Automation experience.
• Strong Python scripting for test automation.
• Experience testing applications with C# / C++ backend components.
• Hands-on experience with UFT, TestComplete, Ranorex, or similar UI automation tools.
• Experience with API and backend testing.
• Strong SQL Server and data-validation experience.
• Experience with Jira, HP ALM, or QTest.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket, SonarQube.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and test automation.

Domain Requirement:

• Capital Markets / Financial Services experience.
• Strong understanding of Equity Derivatives / Derivatives Trading is highly preferred.
