Principal Software Development Engineer

Trident Consulting is currently seeking a ”Principal Software Development Engineer" for one of our clients in "Burlington, MA". A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: Principal Software Development Engineer

Location: Burlington, MA(Onsite)

Type: Fulltime

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, algorithm development, I/O control, systems control, or related areas.
• 5+ years of hands-on C# software development experience in commercial applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cross-platform GUI frameworks, such as Qt/QT.
• Strong experience with C, C++, and C# and associated development environments; Python or other high-level languages are a plus.
• Experience with software architecture, architecture assessment, and technology selection for new products.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, including MVC and MVVM architecture patterns.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and UI components.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience implementing custom communication protocols over TCP/IP and other communication interfaces.
• Experience developing software from concept through commercialization.
