The Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML designs, develops and maintains scalable applications while building and deploying AI, machine learning and deep learning models across the software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test and maintain scalable software applications using Python, C++, .NET, WPF and WCF technologies.
  • Develop and deploy artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning models to address business requirements.
  • Build solutions for image processing, sentiment analysis and natural language processing.
  • Implement supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, including classification, regression and clustering techniques.
  • Develop and evaluate neural network models, selecting appropriate methods to improve accuracy and performance.
  • Prepare and analyse datasets, perform feature engineering and validate model outputs.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production applications through APIs and services.
  • Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment and support.
  • Review code, troubleshoot complex issues and improve software quality, security and maintainability.
  • Support cloud deployment, automation and CI/CD processes.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support Agile and SAFe delivery practices, including Scrum Master responsibilities where required.
  • Mentor developers and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain technical documentation and recommend improvements to development processes.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with involvement across the software development lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications using Python, C++, .NET, WPF and WCF.
  • Practical experience developing, training, evaluating and deploying AI/ML models.
  • Working knowledge of deep learning, image processing, sentiment analysis and natural language processing.
  • Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, classification, regression and neural networks.
  • Understanding of statistical modelling, data preparation and model performance evaluation.
  • Experience implementing Agile and SAFe practices, including experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Familiarity with version control, software testing, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements, manage priorities and work independently.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
  • Preferred: Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate.
